PST8901  

The PST8901 is a 2.1MHz constant frequency, high efficiency, slope compensated current mode PWM boost converter. The devices integrate a low-side NMOS switch and a high-side PMOS as synchronous rectifier for high efficiency and as load disconnet switch. With a 950mA peak switch current limit, the PST8901 is capable of delivering 100mA to the load with a single AA cell, up to 250mA from a dual AA cell, or up to 400mA from a single-cell lithium-ion battery. The device has a 1.0V start-up voltage with operation down to 0.8V.

The PST8901 is offered in a low profile (1mm) DFN2x2-8 package, and is available in fixed output voltages of 3.3V and 5.0V.
