PST8006

The PST8006A is a 1.5MHz constant frequency, high efficiency, slope compensated current mode PWM step-down converter. The devices integrate a high-side PMOS switch and a low-side NMOS as synchronous rectifier for high efficiency. The PST8006A can operate from a 2.5V to 5.5V input voltage and is ideal for powering portable equipment that runs from a single cell lithium-ion (Li+) battery. It can supply 600mA output current and can also run at 100% duty cycle for low dropout operation, extending battery life in portable system.

The PST8006A is offered in a low profile (1mm) TSOT23-5 package, and is available in an adjustable version and fixed output voltages of 1.2V, 1.5V and 1.8V.

PST8019

The PST8019 is a 1.2MHz constant frequency current mode PWM step-down converter. It is ideal for applications requiring very high current up to 1.5A while still achieving over 90% efficiency during peak load conditions. The PST8019 also can run at 100% duty cycle for low dropout operation, extending battery life in portable systems while light load operation provides very low output ripple for noise sensitive applications.

The PST8019 can supply up to 1.5A output load current from a 2.5V to 5.5V input voltage and the output voltage can be regulated as low as 0.6V. The high switching frequency minimizes the size of external components while keeping switching losses low. The internal slope compensation setting allows the device to operate with smaller inductor values to optimize size and provide efficient operation.

The PST8019 is available in adjustable (0.6V to VIN) and fixed (1.8V) output voltage versions. The device is available in a Pb-free, 3mm x 3mm 10-lead TDFN package and is rated over the -40°C to +85°C temperature range.

PST8901 (In Development ...)

The PST8901 is a 2.1MHz constant frequency, high efficiency, slope compensated current mode PWM boost converter. The devices integrate a low-side NMOS switch and a high-side PMOS as synchronous rectifier for high efficiency and as load disconnet switch. With a 950mA peak switch current limit, the AAT1265 is capable of delivering 100mA to the load with a single AA cell, up to 250mA from a dual AA cell, or up to 400mA from a single-cell lithium-ion battery. The device has a 1.0V start-up voltage with operation down to 0.8V.

The PST8901 is offered in a low profile (1mm) DFN2x2-8 package, and is available in fixed output voltages of 3.3V and 5.0V.

PST8020

The PST8020 is a 1.2MHz constant frequency current mode PWM step-down converter. It is ideal for applications requiring very high current up to 2A while still achieving over 90% efficiency during peak load conditions. The PST8020 also can run at 100% duty cycle for low dropout operation, extending battery life in portable systems while light load operation provides very low output ripple for noise sensitive applications.

The PST8020 can supply up to 2A output load current from a 2.5V to 5.5V input voltage and the output voltage can be regulated as low as 0.6V. The high switching frequency minimizes the size of external components while keeping switching losses low. The internal slope compensation setting allows the device to operate with smaller inductor values to optimize size and provide efficient operation.

The PST8020 is available in adjustable (0.6V to VIN) and fixed (1.8V) output voltage versions. The device is available in a Pb-free, 3mm x 3mm 10-lead TDFN package and is rated over the -40°C to +85°C temperature range.
