JOB DESCRIPTION FOR FIELD
APPLICATION ENGINEER (FAE)
Job
Duties
Help customers apply PST products through visits,
demonstrations, training courses and telephone
contact.
Contribute to product specifications, application
and testing hardware/software and literature.
Participate in PST marketing and sales activities
and industry technical meetings and conferences.
Maintain and improve knowledge of all PST products.
Teach in training schools for customers and PST
personnel.
Maintain customer database for customer application
information.
Follow and improve marketing, sales and engineering
quality procedures.
Maintain communications with clients to ensure the
clients expectations are being met, relay results
and additional requirements to the appropriate
operations manager.
Experience and
Skills Requirements
Bachelor Degree in an applicable field
A minimum of 2 years experience in sales or field
application field
Computer skills required - Knowledge of Microsoft
Office
Willing to travel
Experience with IC and/or electronics products
Other Desirable requirements
Relationship with OEM/ODM and end customers in
electronics fields
Organizational skills
Documentation skills
